I have finally secured a copy of the first ever panoramic photo taken at BHCHS. Until recently I believed the first of these was taken in 1943, but I now know this was preceded by a photo taken in July 1939, at the end of the school's first year, when there were 90 boys and four masters. We are really grateful to the son of one of those original pupils for lending us the photo. Stephen Tarlton, who is the son of Brian Tarlton (1938) and nephew of Godfrey Tarlton (1947) - both sadly deceased - has also kindly provided me with other interesting archive material. I shall scan the photo during the next few days - watch this space.
