Seventeen Miles for Charity

Chris Brotherton (1988) has recently joined the Old Bucks and becomes our second youngest member.  He will shortly be taking on an ambitious run for a very good cause.

Along with a few of his colleagues at Everyone Active he will be attempting to run a mile at each of their 17 leisure centres on 16th September.

They will be attempting to complete the challenge in less than 12 hours, starting at 6am at Watford Woodside and finishing in Fareham by late afternoon with a few well earned beers and a BBQ.

Chris and his friends will be raising funds on behalf of The Royal Brompton Hospital in London which specialises in treating patients with heart and lung conditions.

The hospital has a special meaning for Chris because the daughter of some close friends was successfully treated there last year.

Chris would appreciate any donation that you could contribute towards this very worthy cause. Here is the link to his page for donations......
